Next PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff May Impact Sonoma County
"PG&E sent two-day advance notifications Tuesday to approximately 29,000 customers in Sonoma and 18 other counties about a potential weather-related shutoff that could begin as early as Thursday. PG&E is continuing to monitor another weather system expected to bring dry offshore winds to Northern and Central California and may need to call a second PSPS this week to reduce wildfire risk, the utility said. Sonoma County prepares to vaccinate children ages 5 to 11 against COVID-19 pending FDA approval
"Sonoma County health officials on Wednesday discussed steps now being taken to prepare for the vaccination of children ages 5 to 11 against COVID-19. Officials said federal emergency use authorization could be granted to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine later this month or early November. Only 26% said that they would get their kids vaccinated 'right away,' while 25% said they would “definitely not” and 9% said they would only do it if required. D’Angelo and Mase said they hoped that in Sonoma County more parents would be willing to get their young children vaccinated."

Mortgage Rates Surpass Three Percent
"The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rose to its highest point since April. As inflationary pressure builds due to the ongoing pandemic and tightening monetary policy, we expect rates to continue a modest upswing. Historically speaking, rates are still low, but many potential homebuyers are staying on the sidelines due to high home price growth.
